Terms
Terms of service
Last updated September 2026
This page is the whole agreement. There is nothing else to sign and no separate contract waiting for you. Anyone at the practice can read it in a few minutes, which is the point.
1. Who we are
Chairside is a product of GREA Technologies. Writing to richard@grea.site reaches the person who builds the sites. In these terms, we and us mean Chairside, and you means the dental practice that orders, and the person ordering on its behalf.
2. What we do, and what we do not
We build a website for a dental practice from that practice's own public listings.
What we do:
- Read your public Google listing and any public information you point us at
- Write and build a site for the practice, in HTML and CSS, hosted on our infrastructure if you choose a hosting tier
- Point your domain at the site if you ask us to
- Keep the hosting up, and make the monthly change on Stub C
What we do not do:
- Sell an SEO retainer, run ads, or promise rankings in search results
- Manage your Google Business Profile, your reviews, or your rating
- Take bookings, answer your phone, or run your front desk
- Give dental, clinical, or legal advice, or act as your practice consultant
- Provide any service that would require us to hold patient information. We do not want it and we do not accept it
If we built the wrong thing, or you asked for something outside this page, tell us and we either agree a price for it in writing before the work starts, or we say no. We do not start work that has not been agreed.
3. The $25 preview
The preview is $25. You pay it when you order, before we build anything. For that $25 you get a working site built from your public listing, published at a private address, with a sign-in link emailed to you so you can read it and leave comments on it.
- The preview is a real site, not a mockup or a screenshot
- Every preview page is served with robots noindex, nofollow, so it does not appear in search results and does not compete with your real listing or your existing site
- The preview is yours to read and comment on. It is not a licence to run your practice on, and you should not send patients to it
- If you say no, the $25 is refunded the same day. See the refund policy
- If you say yes, the $25 paid for the preview and is not refunded. It is not added on top of the tier price either
- We may decline an order, for example if we cannot find enough public information to build something true about the practice. If that happens we refund the $25 in full and say why
4. The three prices after the preview
You choose after you have seen the preview, and nothing is billed before that. The site is the same in all three cases. What changes is who hosts it and who does the next edit.
- Stub A, files only: $250. We hand over the site files. You host it wherever you like, and there is no ongoing fee from us.
- Stub B, we host it: $400. We host it, we point your domain at it, and there is no ongoing fee. Future changes are quoted separately before any work starts.
- Stub C, hosted with a monthly change: $500 once, then $25 a month. Hosting, the domain pointing, and one change request included each month. So the first month is $525 paid at the start, then $25 a month.
All prices are in US dollars. If sales tax or a similar tax applies to your order, it is added at checkout and shown before you pay. Cards are handled by Stripe: we never see or store a card number.
5. The $25 a month, and cancelling
- There is no term. There is no minimum number of months and there is no cancellation fee
- Cancel any time by replying to any email from us or writing to richard@grea.site. You do not have to give a reason or sit through a call
- Cancelling stops the next monthly charge. The month you have already paid for runs to its end, and hosting stops after that
- The included change is one change request per calendar month. It does not accumulate from month to month
- When hosting stops, we send you the files if you do not already have them. The domain stays registered in the practice's name and keeps working, pointed wherever you send it
6. What you own
You own the domain, the code and the content. That is not conditional on paying us anything further, and there is nothing to ask our permission for.
- The domain. Registered in the practice's name. If we register it for you, it is still yours and the renewal is passed through at cost
- The code. Every page we write for the practice is yours once it is handed over. No licence key, no export fee, no copy held back
- The content. The words, the hours, the services, the photos and the reviews. Most of it came from your own listing in the first place
- What stays ours. The Chairside name and marks, and the tools we use to build with. We are not handing over our own product, we are handing over your site
7. Patient information
No patient information is stored in any Chairside system. Requests made on a site we built for you are emailed straight to the practice, and are never stored by us. There is no Chairside database holding a patient name, a phone number, or a reason for writing.
- Do not send patient information to us, in the order form, in the notes box, or by email
- Do not ask us to build pages that collect health information about a patient
- Your own obligations as a practice, including anything required by HIPAA, remain yours, and the inbox the requests land in must be one you control and protect
More detail, including what Chairside itself does collect, is on the privacy page.
8. Acceptable use
Use the site we build for its actual purpose. Do not use it to:
- Publish claims about the practice that are not true, or advertise treatments it does not provide
- Publish reviews or ratings that are not the practice's own, or edit a review's wording to say something it does not say
- Collect patient health information through forms, chat widgets or any other means on the site
- Break the law, infringe someone's copyright, or use images the practice does not have the right to use
- Resell our work as your own product, theme or template, or resell it to other practices
If a site is being used this way, we will ask you to fix it, and if it is not fixed we will stop hosting it and refund the unused part of any monthly plan. We will tell you plainly why, in writing.
9. Uptime and support
We do not promise a specific uptime percentage. The sites are served as static files through a global network, which is about as hard to knock over as a website gets, and if something breaks we fix it. Requests about a site we host get an answer from a person within one business day, usually sooner.
10. What we cannot promise
We do not promise a ranking position in Google, a number of new patients, a number of calls, or a change in your rating or review count. Those are not in our control and they are not in anyone else's either. We can promise that the site loads quickly, is readable on a phone, and says what the practice actually does.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, the version at this address is the current one, and the date at the top tells you when it changed. If a change materially affects a practice with an active monthly plan, we email that practice before it takes effect. Prices already paid are not changed after the fact.
12. Contact
Questions about any of this, or about your order, go to richard@grea.site. Include your order reference if you have it. A person answers. Last updated September 2026.
